Well, that’s a wrap. Confederate Motors is no more. Instead, they’ve partnered with Zero Motorcycles to rebrand themselves as the Curtiss Motor Company (named after Glenn Curtiss – holder of the first ever land speed record) where they’ll exclusively build electric motorcycles from here on out. However, not before releasing one last powerhouse of a build to properly close out this chapter in true Confederate fashion.
Dubbed the FA-13 Combat Bomber, this beastly ride is ironically the most powerful motorcycle ever produced by the Alabama workshop with 150 horses at the helm here. You could argue it’s also one of the most aggressive as well – thanks in part to a monocoque frame made from 100 percent military-spec billet and a stealth-matte anodized finish. Finally, pepper in a custom leather seat for good measure and you have one hell of a way to say goodbye to years of petrol-infused innovation. They will surely be missed.
